the need

Every day around the globe,
39,000 girls are forced into early marriage.
That is 27 girls per minute.

MISSION

Faces for Hope empowers Maasai girls
through relationship, discipleship and education
so that they have the freedom to dream of futures
beyond exploitation as child brides.

My name is Ester

My name is Ester Loserian Laizer. I am a 14 year old Masai girl from the bush of Engikaret, Tanzania. I live in a very dry area where we go through many droughts. Faces for Hope found me when I was young and started me in a good primary school, where I was able to learn English. I finished my primary school years and passed my exam well, and now heading to high school. I just lost my sponsor, and need another one to be able to continue. I will try my hardest and do well. I hope to continue my education so I do not have to get married and because I want to do something with my life other than take care of goats. Bless you, Ester

Why Have A PlaceHolder Card and New Primary School Card?

FacesForHope has seen so many incredible things happen this year.
Within weeks of returning home from Africa this January, most of all the 65 new girls that we brought home to find sponsors for, were sponsored.
We believe that God is behind this.

On top of that, Faces for Hope in Tanzania is duplicating itself in a new area where there is no Primary School. We are in the process of building a Primary school in this new area and will be looking for partners to support this new school on a monthly basis.
Many more girls need help.
